Develop

White balance, tone, parametric curve, HSL mixer, sharpen, and noise reduction. Value chips turn emerald when a control is off zero.

Compare and history

Hold the photo to see the original. Pin compare from the header. Undo and redo keep a short develop history without a full reset.

Library tiles with Pick, stars, and Reject

Catalog

Projects, pick / reject / stars, filters, presets, and batch-sync a look. Crop on the target photo stays put.

Crop

Drag handles on the photo. The crop stays a draft until you change it — leaving the tab does not surprise-save.

Radial local

One radial mask for exposure, contrast, highlights, and shadows — classical local adjust, not a subject AI mask.

Spot heal

Classical clone with an automatic nearby source. Green is the fix, dashed white is where it copied from. Not generative AI.

Presets

Save a look and apply it to other photos. Crop and spot heals stay with the photo, not the preset.

Export

JPEG or HEIF to Photos or Share. Long-edge Original / 2048 / 4096. The library original is never overwritten.

Recipe sync between two devices, pixels stay local

Optional iCloud

Turn sync on to share projects, recipes, and presets with the same Apple ID. Photo pixels stay in Photos on each device. Off by default — you can develop fully offline.

What this is not

Not a subscription. Not generative fill or ML remove. Not Adobe Lightroom or XMP parity. Offline-first: you can develop with iCloud off.
